Matthew Porter graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1997. Soon after he hopped on a plane and landed in America where he's been ever since. Matthew has dabbled with sideshow banners, Mexican wrestlers, giant robot cats, wide eyed animals, Japanese woodcut inspired bird and blossom painting and the infamous "Monkey World" series. He is co-owner of Bluebottle Art Gallery located in the Seattle Capitol Hill neighborhood. Most recently he has had two children’s board books published by Simply Read Books. Four more titles will be released within the next few years.
